Cromer Carnival
From the 15th of August, 2026, util the 21st of August, 2026, Cromer Carnival Week will be commencing in Cromer, Norfolk.
Cromer Carnival is a community event run by volunteers to provide entertainment throughout the year for Cromer. We value your opinions and have considered health and safety requirements alongside the costs of implementing road closures for the 2025 parade route, which required additional traffic marshals
For 2026, the parade will revert to the previous route with a slight route amendment. The parade will assemble on the Carnival Field proceeding along:
- Runton Road,
- Prince of Wales Road,
- Hamilton Road,
- Church Street,
- Mount Street,
- Louden Road
Instead of continuing up West Street to Morrisons Roundabout and along Beach Road, the parade will return via:
- Prince of Wales Road,
- Runton Road,
- Finishing on the Carnival Field.
This adjustment reduces the need for extra traffic marshals while preserving the spirit of the event.
We do however require Volunteer marshals to assist with the floats both on the field at assembly and while the parade weaves through town. If you could spare us some time to assist on the Wednesday evening, please get in contact………
Without Volunteers the Carnival will not survive.
