Welcome to our beautiful town situated on the shore of the Beach. We are happy to provide all the information you need to enjoy your stay in Bacton.

Local activities and information:

Bacton beach is a 2-minute stroll down the lane, and Mundesley beach is also nice for families and has lifeguards in the summer months.

Sea Palling, Waxham, and Horsey are great for quiet walks and seal watching and all within a short drive from the cottages.

Further afield, you could try crabbing on the Cromer pier or have an old-fashioned day beside the seaside at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach. 

A short walk away on the Coast road is Super Stores (known locally as Billy's).There is a small convenience store along the seafront at Walcott. North Walsham has a Sainsburys, Lidl and a Waitrose.We have two local (ish) department stores – Roys of Wroxham, and Jarrold in Norwich and Cromer. Norwich is also home to a great range of independent shops and galleries, and all the usual high street brands.
